The Picks:
Team Unihorn And Woolly Volume 1 Attack Of The Krill GN – Harper Alley releases a new super-hero series filled with the most unlikely of heroes. Burlap Beach is a peaceful place and home to one-horned friends Shu the grumpy horseshoe crab, Raina the rhino and Nigel the narwhal. All of that changes when two very odd things happen on the same day. An iceberg containing the last woolly mammoth washes ashore, and the friends, after watching the super-rare blood moon, wake up with superpowers! Shu can now fly, Raina has superspeed and Nigel’s natural sonar is amplified into x-ray vision! The three befriend Woolly, who is the odd one out with two tusks and zero powers but has big brains to match his big frame. Together, they make Team Unihorn, and must fight to save the day from a swarm of prehistoric krill that threaten to devour the boardwalk. Young readers will enjoy this new series that’s filled with goofy heroes and quirky villains.

Fans of magic, myth, and superheroes will find much to enjoy in this new take on the 90s cartoon.
