More Geronimo Stilton Graphic Novels Coming from Papercutz | News

Tireless journalist and cheese connoisseur Geronimo Stilton is on the case again (the cheese case, that is), with two more graphic novels coming this fall from Papercutz, which has been publishing them for 15 years now (see Snow Wildsmith’s review of the first two volumes!). The nomenclature can be a bit puzzling, so here’s a quick intro: Papercutz has published 19 Geronimo Stilton graphic novels that are based on the original chapter books, eight Thea Stilton graphic novels (based on the exploits of Geronimo’s sister), and 16 Geronimo Stilton: Reporter graphic novels, which are based on the animated series. They have also released the Geronimo Stilton and Geronimo Stilton: Reporter graphic novels as omnibus editions, usually 3-in-1. Got that? (These are not to be confused with Tom Angleberger’s original Geronimo Stilton graphic novels, four of which were published by Graphix in 2020-2022; these have a completely different look, so they are easy to spot.) Papercutz puts an age rating of 7-12 on its Geronimo Stilton books.

So here’s what’s coming next: Geronimo Stilton: Reporter 3-in-1 vol. 5 will be out on October 14, 2024:
First up, Geronimo Stilton’s dealt with mummies, ninjas, and pirates, but this may be the first time he’s ever come face to face with… ghosts! Can the scaredy-mouse overcome his fears and get to the bottom of the mystery for a big scoop for his newspaper? For help, who’s he gonna call? His ghost-bustin’ relatives, of course! Geronimo and his family need to travel to a haunted museum in Africa for this globe-trekking, teeth-chattering spooky adventure, whether Geronimo likes it or not!
Next up: checkmate, cheese-lovers, er, we mean chess-lovers. For once, all is quiet in New Mouse City, so Geronimo Stilton, Editor-in-Chief of The Rodents Gazette can report on an incredible chess match-up. On one side, Gary Goudov, world-renowned chess champion, and on the other side, a super chess-playing computer! But after Geronimo leaves, the infamous Gem Gang commits a string of robberies that only the Stiltons can untangle. Can Geronimo, Benjamin, and Thea protect the good mice of New Mouse City from the greed of the Gem Gang? Find out in this cheddar-ific story.
Lastly, what in gouda is happening to New Mouse City? Thea Stilton is missing and someone has been burglarizing the most popular shops! Are the two mysteries connected? Geronimo, the famous editor-in-chief of The Rodent’s Gazette, is on the case. But Sally Ratmousen, the owner of the Daily Rat newspaper, thinks Thea is the thief! Can Geronimo and his family find Thea and clear her name? Keep reading to find out the answers!

And then on November 19, Papercutz will release vol. 17 of Geronimo Stilton: Reporter:
Geronimo is entrusted with the latest fashion secret from top designer, Felipolino, but Sally is after the information and she uses every dirty trick she can to get the scoop for herself, and leaves Geronimo fighting to clear his good name.
Sally sends Shadow on a mission to frame Geronimo and ruin his good name and friendship with Felipolino so she can get the big scoop on the designer’s latest fashion creation. It’s up to Pandora, Thea, Trap and Benjamin to infiltrate the world of fashion and help clear Geronimo’s name.
