Exclusive: Papercutz, Maverick Detail ALA Plans | News

Mad Cave Studios is going all in on this weekend’s American Library Association Annual Conference & Exhibition in Chicago, with activities spotlighting their main line as well as their YA imprint Maverick and their middle-grade imprint Papercutz, which they acquired last year. The publisher will be set up at Booth #1423 and will be featuring appearances by Jennie Wood, writer of Paper Planes, which will be published by Maverick on July 18; Jeremy Whitley, writer of School for Extraterrestrial Girls (vol. 2 is due out from Papercutz on November 28); and Tiny Titans co-creator Art Baltazar, whose original graphic novel Yahgz will be published by Papercutz on August 1. Details on their appearances are below.
In addition to these books, attendees will get a first look at a number of upcoming graphic novels, including the Maverick title Confetti Realms and the Mad Cave titles Don’t Spit in the Wind, Mariko Between Worlds, John Tiffany, and Whisper of the Woods.
