Exclusive Announcement: Art Baltazar’s YAHGZ | News
We’ve got a bit of exclusive news for you today: A new comic by cartoonist Art Baltazar, co-creator (with his collaborator, Franco) of Tiny Titans, Aw Yeah Comics, and a bazillion other cute, funny comics and solo creator of Gillbert: The Little Merman. The new comic is YAHGZ: The Craynobi Tales, and it will be published by Papercutz on August 1, 2023. The 88-page, 6″ x 9″ hardcover will have a list price of $14.99.
YAHGZ is the story of a father and son, Craybi and Crayski Craynobi, who go on a journey to save the city of Yahgz and its inhabitants, the Yahgeez, from a giant green gorilla. Here’s what Baltazar had to say about the book:

In a land of mystical wonder, magic, and mystery…our hero CRAYBI CRAYNOBI is called upon to defend the land of YAHGZ against the threats of evil monsters and diabolical creatures!
YAHGZ is a story I had on my mind for the last 30 years. It’s the first story I wrote when I first began my comic book career in 1992. Now with my years of Famous Cartooning experience, the CRAYS return to bring their epic story to the mainstream masses!
When Madcave/Papercutz asked me to submit the cover for my new book titled YAHGZ, I couldn’t believe it. I was overwhelmed. My family immediately danced with me in the kitchen. Its true.
YAHGZ is very special to me and I hope you join me on this journey. AW YEAH!
Here’s a preview. Enjoy!
