Suee and the Strange White Light from Amulet Books tops this week’s list of new comics, manga, and graphic novels for readers 12 and under along with a new volume in an eerie series from Papercutz. Other highlights include a new issue of Scooby-Doo Where Are You #122 from DC Comics. IDW Publishing wraps up another arc of Sonic the Hedgehog #61 while Seven Seas Entertainment released volume 4 of Yokai Cats.

Suee And The Strange White Light GN – Amulet Books releases a sequel to a story last seen in 2017. Suee and her fellow members of the Zero Detective Club are back and ready to solve some mysteries! But, there isn’t much to do with only a few missing cat cases. That all changes when Suee’s kid-nemesis from her old school, Smartie, goes missing. The Zero Detective Club members head out to find her and discover more weird things going on around town: An army of workers in white uniforms are installing strange devices and all the adults have started acting bizarre and ignoring their kids. So it’s up to Suee and her friends to find out what’s going on! This follow up to Suee and the Shadow has the right balance of energy and spooky mystery to entice readers young and old.

Nightmare Brigade Volume 3 Finding Alice GN – Papercutz releases the third volume in this eerie series. Tristan, Esteban, and Sarah, led by Professor Angus, continue in their mission to save people from the terrors of the night one nightmare at a time. This time, they must face one of their biggest challenges yet! Tristan’s mother, Alice, ventured into the mad mind of Leonard ten years ago, but got trapped when the dream turned tragic. The Nightmare Brigade is ready for this. With more experience, and bigger and better than ever, they can finally save Tristan’s beloved mother. But to do so will require delving into Alice’s own past to bring her into the Nightmare Brigade’s future. Middle school readers will love the creepy atmosphere and eerie adventure.
