Exclusive: ‘Aw Nuts!’ from Papercutz | News and Preview

Today we have an exclusive announcement and preview from Papercutz: Aw Nuts! The Crumbelievable Adventures of Peanut & Jelly, the first volume in a new graphic novel series by Emmy-winning TV writer Max Beaudry (Super Duper Bunny League, Baby Shark) and artist David Perry. The pun-filled comedy-adventure series is aimed at readers aged 6 to 9. Here’s the 411:
Every morsel falls into place within the Foodtopia Pyramid. Well-peeled fancy folks reign from the toppings, average doughs make up the filling, and at the bottom, the odd-foods-out form the crumbs.
This is where we find Peanut and Jelly. They may be lowly employees at the Crumb Dump for now, but these ride-or-fries are determined to rise to the coveted upper crust. But when they accidentally unleash a Crumb Feeder into the city, their plans look shakier than an uneven souffle!
This tale has steaks, artichoke heart, and is ripe with comedy!
The 88-page book is slated for release on July 29, 2025, but today we have a preview—a taste of things to come, if you will. Bon appetit!
