NBM Fall Titles a Diverse Group of Non-Fiction Graphic Novels | News
NBM Graphic Novels has announced four new books for fall 2024, with one releasing each month from September to December. They include history, biography, and parental humor.
The Incredible Story of Cooking: From Prehistory to Today, 500,000 Years of Adventure is written by Benoist Simmat, with art by Stéphane Douay. They previously created Wine: A Graphic History. This 240-page color hardcover is a history of humanity through the ways cuisine evolved. It covers the discovery of fire through organic food trends, with information on freezing, spice trading, and more. Plus, 22 of the dishes have recipes included! The Incredible Story of Cooking is due out September 10, priced at $34.99.
Jeffrey Brown’s Kids Are Still Weird and More Observations From Parenthood collects comics about being a parent by the author of Darth Vader & Son. The 104-page color paperback promises kids who “speak brutal truths and make unintentionally hilarious observations.” Kids Are Still Weird will be out October 15, priced at $9.99.

The British Invasion! by Herve Bourhis, a 272-page color hardcover, covers the pop culture of England since 1962, including James Bond, miniskirts, Bowie, Banksy, and the Teletubbies! The British Invasion! releases November 12, priced at $34.99.
Audrey Hepburn is written by Michele Botton, art by Dorilys Giacchetto. The 176-page color hardcover portrays the variety of lives the movie star lived, from childhood survivor of World War II through dancing and acting to her work as a UNICEF ambassador. Audrey Hepburn is out December 10, priced at $24.99.
