A Golden Age Character Reappears in an Archie Comic | Preview
Today’s preview of Betty and Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest #322 features the return of a Golden Age character, Fran Frazer, a globe-trotting photojournalist who solved mysteries in Top-Notch Comics in th 1940s. The original Fran was kinda hard-boiled, as teen humor wasn’t the only focus of MLJ Comics (which later became Archie) at the time; the superhero The Black Hood also appeared in the same comics. Fran recently popped up in World of Archie Digest #136, and now she’s back in Riverdale again to help the gang figure out who stole Ms. Grundy’s final exam. We have a preview of that story as well as a complete classic story for your Friday reading pleasure. The digest will be out next Wednesday. Enjoy!
