Its another year of exciting stories to report on from intrepid reporters Elvis, Puck, Lupin, Tommy and the new bookstore correspondent Beatrix including daring hairstyles, not-so-hilarious sweaters, an Easter egg hunt disaster, new cat foods, something called papasan, and the first ever celebration of St. Catty’s Day! Gather around the space heater for some spooky tales as the broadcast turns ghostly when Puck gets in over his head after making a harrowing journey to the attic. Punch Up Volume 1 GN – Oni Press releases a graphic novel in the shonen manga style. Pitch, a young orphan dreams of one day traveling to the city and competing in the Wide Plain Fighting Tournament. He knows he’ll succeed if he can get trained by Sonny Chan. Getting the aging tournament fighter to take him as a student is another story. But, if he can make it in the big city where unsavory types, and maybe even the host of the fighting tournament Emperor Jayson, are out to do him harm, he just might win! This graphic novel takes its inspiration from titles shonen fighting manga such as Naruto and Dragon Ball Z.
