- Almost Sunset, by Wahab Algarmi, debut about a Muslim American boy fasting through the month of Ramadan while juggling school deadlines and soccer games, HarperCollins/Katherine Tegen Books, TBD.
- The Greenies, by Emma Mills and Sarah Nicole Kennedy, three graphic novels about a girl joining the environmental club at her new school, Henry Holt, beginning in 2025.
- Henna for the Jinn, by Safiya Zerrougui, historical fiction with a young henna painter in a noble Turkish house searching for her missing brother, First Second, 2026.
- Pencil & Eraser, by Jenny Alvarado, series of three early reader graphic novels with the comic adventures of school supplies who are best friends, Putnam, fall 2024.
- Tadpoles (tentative), by Liz Montague, three soon-to-be-seventh-graders attend sleep-away camp and deal with family and romantic struggles, Random House Studio, summer 2025.
