The Adventures of Captain Nick & the Explorer Society | Preview
Today we have a preview of Trackers Presents: Captain Nick & the Explorer Society: Compass of Mems, bringing some good old-fashioned escape reading just in time for summer vacation. The book was created with Tony Deis, the CEO of Trackers Earth, an outdoor education organization that teaches outdoor skills, often through live action role playing (LARPing). The graphic novel translates that to the page, with a group of kids plus Captain Nick racing to find the Compass of Mems before their rival, the Contessa, gets to it. In addition to Deis, the creative team for the book includes writers Grey Allison and Michelle McCann, penciller Thomas Pitilli, inker Lukas Ketner, colorist Liezl Buenaventura, and letterer Troy Peteri. The graphic novel is rated for ages 8 and up Dark Horse will publish it on July 4. Enjoy!
