  • Baby Steps, by Maggie Edkins Willis, where a teen finds herself caring for her new baby sibling when her mother has depression, Roaring Brook, spring 2026.
  • First Kiss With Fangs, by Marker Snyder, in which a teen vampire gets his adult fangs as he starts school, Holiday House, fall 2025.
  • Momo, by Ranran Zhou, about a young witch who wants to be a detective but finds crime-solving can be difficult, Atheneum, 2026, sequel to follow.
  • My Tokyo Summer, by Abby Denson and Utomaru, a graphic memoir about an American art student visiting Tokyo and collaborating on a comic for the biggest comic show in Japan, Scholastic/Graphix, spring 2026.
  • Sky & Ty, by Steve Breen, a chapter book graphic novel about a cowgirl running a delivery service with her dinosaur, Pixel+Ink, spring 2024, sequel to follow in spring 2025.
