It’s Jeff! | This Week’s Comics

Dungeons And Dragons Saturday Morning Adventures #1 – IDW Publishing brings back a childhood classic for a new generation of fans. Once, six kids boarded a magical roller coaster and had their world turned upside down as they were transported to the Forgotten Realms of Dungeons and Dragons. Led by noble ranger Hank, intrepid acrobat Diana, quiet thief Sheila, impulsive barbarian Bobby and his baby unicorn Uni, fearful cavalier Eric, and uncertain magician Presto search for a way back to their own world. Danger lurks around every corner as the evil Venger plots to steal their magical weapons, and the enigmatic Dungeon Master is less than helpful. Despite the dangers, they may not be so eager to go home after all! This “lost episode” of the 1983 Saturday Morning cartoon series sets up the characters for a whole new run of adventures both old and new fans will enjoy.

It’s Jeff #1 – Marvel Comics collects the Infinity Comics series from the Marvel Unlimited app to release in print. Jeff the Land Shark is the pet of wacky hero Gwen Poole but is always ready to lend a hand to the other heroes in the Marvel Universe. The ingenious, extraordinary, unbearably innocent and just plain cute Jeff embarks on his own adventures including being the darling at a superhero pool party, “borrowing” Captain America’s shield to sled with the Young Avengers, eating the Infinity Gauntlet, and swiping a superhero’s gathering’s Thanksgiving Turkey. The stories are all wordless, told instead through the incredibly cute art of Gurihiru. Readers young and old will fall in love with this adorable land shark!
