Green Girls GN – Graphic Universe releases a graphic novel about raising awareness to save the planet. Friends Emma, Lily, and Fadila want to save the planet, but no one at their school seems to care. It doesn’t seem cool or important enough to the other students. Frustrated, the three friends name themselves the Green Girls and do what anyone else their age would do. They take to social media and launch a series of bold protests. Joined by aspiring Green Girl Silas, these friends start to stir up trouble—and risk getting into it as well—to raise awareness of issues such as container ship pollution, palm oil overproduction, and other environmental hazards. Using a mix of livestreams, spray paint, and bungee cords, they are determined to make a difference and get their followers to do the same. This graphic novel will appeal to middle grade readers interested in activism and saving the planet.

Snowcat Prince TP – Oni Press releases a beautifully illustrated tale of bravery and honor. Syv is the youngest snowcat in a family of princes. With the death of his father, Syv and his brothers are all in line for the throne. Wary of Syv’s popularity among the citizens, his brothers send him on a dangerous quest. The snowcat who finds the long-lost magical crown of their royal ancestor the Eldking is said to break the curse on their land and bring great honor to the family. Failure could bring the mark of three black stripes and would mean being banished forever. Syv will have to face dangerous beasts, dark powers, and the ever-lurking sandfoxes—sworn enemies of the snowcats—as he goes on his journey. But when the truth behind the legend of the Eldking and his magical crown is revealed, Syv will have to learn the new meaning of honor and find another way to break the curse. Fans of fantasy and adventure will enjoy this colorful and richly illustrated volume.
