The Picks:

Family Time #1 – Ablaze Publishing debuts a new series by a father-daughter writing team. The O’Connells have traveled to Ireland for a family vacation. They encounter an old man with a mysterious crystal that seemingly teleports them 1,000 years back in time. Thinking they have stumbled into a historical re-enactment at first, the family befriends a timid local, Rory. Meanwhile, thirteen-year-old daughter Lily has somehow gained superpowers and must learn how to use them, all while battling a medieval tyrant named Ciaran and his henchmen and trying to figure out how to get back to the present. Written by Robert Windom and his eleven-year-old daughter Lily, this fun, fantasy adventure will appeal to middle school readers.

Godzilla Monsters And Protectors All Hail The King #3 – IDW Publishing continues the exploits of the King of Monster, Godzilla! The alien Xiliens are looking for a countermeasure against Godzilla so they can complete their conquest of Earth. Finding the resting place of another monster, the three-headed dragon King Ghidorah, they use their advanced technology to awaken the great beast. The worldwide rampage he goes on gets the attention of Godzilla, and they clash, as monsters do. But the results of this fight might not be good for anyone, human or Xilien! Fans of the king of kaiju will not want to miss this series or issue as Godzilla faces his greatest foe!
