Arith Magica Gossamyr Saga Volume 1 Finding Gossamyr TP – Th3rd World Studios introduces a world where math is magic. After his parents’ divorce, Denny Auramen, a young boy on the autism spectrum, moves in with his older sister Jenna. Denny has a gift for solving math problems, so Jenna tries to get him into a prestigious math program, and one of the qualifications for admission is to solve an ancient theorem. Despite his own misgivings, he solves it, and the pair are sent to the world of Gossamyr, a place where math is magic and an ancient evil has been unleashed. In this world, Danny’s gifts make him a powerful Arithmancer, which only complicates the siblings’ already strained relationship. The two must work together to find a way to navigate the treacherous land and find their way home. With an engaging story and stunning artwork, this title will appeal to readers of any age.

Fibbed GN – Razorbill releases a magical graphic novel about the power of stories. Nana always tells the truth, but no one believes her wild stories. When another outlandish explanation lands her in hot water again, her parents send her to spend the summer with her grandmother in Ghana. Nana isn’t happy that she is going to be missing the summer camp she’s been looking forward to all year, or to be living with family she barely knows in a country where she can’t really speak the native language. Her troubles only grow when she learns that the village and surrounding forest is a place of magic watched over by Ananse, the trickster spider of legend. When greedy contractors start draining the magic from the land, intent on selling the wishes for their own gain, Nana must join forces with her cousin Tiwaa, new friend Akwes,i and Ananse himself to save the magic before it and the forest are gone for good. Filled with magic and adventure, this title will make a good addition to any graphic novel library.
