The Picks:

Poiko Quests And Stuff TP – Vault Comics introduces Poiko, an adorable anthropomorphic adventurer. There is no such thing as an average day for Poiko. From delivering a care package to a dragon with allergies to being waylaid by space fish, it’s all in a day’s work for the kingdom’s most reliable courier. Every time Poiko brushes his tail, puts on his hoodie and steps out into a new adventure, he learns something new. The world can be a big scary place, but it can also be wondrous. Sad things can happen, but there are always good friends to turn to, or new ones to make. And no matter what, there is alway someone who needs help. This title is perfect for fans of Mouse Guard, Little Robot, and Hilda.

Sir Ladybug Volume 1 HC – Balzer + Bray debuts a young graphic novel series about the adventures of a valiant ladybug and his friends. Sir Ladybug, the duke of the dandelion patch, and champion of truth and justice, never shies away from a quest. Even when he’d rather be playing a video game or baking a cake, this knight of the dandelion patch is ready for adventure. When a caterpillar needs rescuing from a monster in the form of a hungry chickadee, Sir Ladybug, assisted by his trusty friends, his herald Pell, a roly-poly and his squire, a snail named Sterling, hatch the perfect plan. Fans of Catwad, Bird & Squirrel, and Narwhal & Jelly will be delighted by this new series.
