The Picks:

Creepy Case Files Of Margo Maloo Volume 3 The Tangled Web – First Second Books returns to the spooky world of Margo Maloo. Assisting Margo Maloo has led Charles to assignments in some interesting locations. He’s been to a vampire’s lair, an ogre’s den, and even a monster grocery store. The one place he hasn’t been to yet is Downside, Echo City’s super mysterious and very off-limits-to-kids underground monster metropolis. But when Charles is “accidentally” bit by a giant spider from a settlement that is about to be dynamited by unwitting construction workers, he and Margo must venture to the Downside, to find his cure and the spider’s salvation – if they can make it in time. The Creepy Case of Files of Margo Maloo has just the right balance of mystery and monsters. It’s a series every elementary school library or graphic novel collection should have.
