Adventure Kingdom – Andrew McMeel releases a new Epic Original about a more than average theme park. Clark, a wannabe livestreamer, sneaks into Adventure Kingdom looking to get a peak at the once-magical theme park. Inside, he runs into Karoline, the granddaughter of the park’s creator, Jerome Barker. Clark just wants to do a livestream for his fans, and Karoline just wants him to leave. But the park seems to have other ideas for the pair, as they discover the magic of the place was never just an illusion. Clark and Karoline must work together to find what they’ve both lost, and rescue Karoline’s mysterious granddad, assisted only by an enchanted coin and a talking monkey with questionable loyalties. Filled with plenty of action, chase scenes and magic, this title is a great addition to middle school libraries and graphic novel collections.

Star Wars Adventures Annual 2021 – IDW Publishing reintroduces an alien species to Star Wars canon in this end of year annual. Han Solo and Chewbacca bring Jabba the Hut a special present, hoping to win the galactic gangster’s favor. The adorable hoojib should be a perfect addition to Jabba’s menagerie, but the cute critters are hiding a terrible secret. Then, on Cloud City, a group of troublesome kids find a rare coin worth a pretty credit. But they end up way over their heads when they discover the coin belongs to the one and only Lando Calrissian. Star Wars fans will not want to miss the return of the hoojib after their 40 year absence.
