Christmas Calamity #1 | Preview

Today we have a preview of Archie & Friends Christmas Calamity #1, a new Archie Comics special done in the traditional Archie style. After several years of turning their comics over to writers and artists with a variety of different styles and stories, an initiative they launched in 2015, the Archie folks have shifted gears and have returned to publishing single-issue comics (as opposed to digests) with a mix of new and old material in the house style we all grew up with. Archie & Friends Christmas Calamity #1 has a new lead story featuring the return of Jingles the Elf, and we have a preview of that for you this morning, plus a complete older story in which Hot Dog helps Betty solve her Christmas gift dilemma. The comic goes on sale on Wednesday. So grab the first candy cane of the season and enjoy!
