Leak For The Love Of Truth GN – First Second releases a tale of investigative journalism and ecological awareness. Ruth Keller is a young journalist who is brash and precocious. She argues with everyone: her dentist, her parents, and her teachers. When she discovers a strange black slime in the man-made lake of her suburban neighborhood, she decides to investigate. Ruth seeks out the truth at all costs, even when it means taking on a rich local country club owner, who she believes responsible. She is supported by friends and family, but the teasing of former friends and a sudden viral spotlight shows her how difficult it is for a journalist to take a stand for what’s right in the face of critique and controversy. This middle grade graphic novel is a great example of young voices making a difference.

Thor And Loki Double Trouble #1 – Marvel Comics is in for some double trouble in this new mini-series. Thor and Loki are brothers, gods, and sons of Odin, but they just don’t get along. It doesn’t help that Loki keeps tricking Thor into doing things that will get him in trouble, such as daring Thor to steal a powerful relic from Odin’s vault. How can the God of thunder say nay? And while the God of Mischief always finds joy in getting his brother in trouble, is this the trick that finally goes too far? With plenty of humor and adorable art, this is a series everyone will enjoy.
