Seen: Rachel Carson | Exclusive Preview

Today we have an exclusive preview of Seen: Rachel Carson, a new graphic biography of the environmentalist and author of the ground-breaking work Silent Spring. Writer Birdie Willis (Over the Garden Wall) and artist Rii Abrego (Steven Universe) are the creative team on this book, and BOOM! Studios is publishing it under its BOOM! Box imprint. This is the second in BOOM!’s graphic biographies line, “Seen: True Stories of Marginalized Trailblazers,” which was announced here in December 2019. The “Seen” books are intended to bring new attention to historical figures who aren’t included in the standard textbooks; the first book in the series, Seen: Edmonia Lewis, was published in September 2020.
Seen: Rachel Carson will be published on March 24, but we have an exclusive first look here. Enjoy!
