Cover of Tell No Tales Pirates of the Southern Seas

Tell No Tales Pirates Of The Southern Sea GN – Amulet Books releases a tale of swashbuckling adventure. Anne Bonny, captain of her own ship and pirate crew has been planning a major heist. The night before, she has an unsettling dream. Come morning, the robbery has been thwarted, and Woodes Rogers, a zealot determined to eliminate piracy, has them on the run. With no escape plan, Anne must convince her crew to find the meaning of her dream. It will take all of her courage to keep them afloat. Inspired by the historical exploits of real-life female pirates, Tell No Tales is full of sass, solidarity, and swordplay.

Cover of Brightly Woven

Brightly Woven GN – Disney – Hyperion adapts Alexandra Bracken’s novel into a graphic novel for middle school readers. Fourteen-year-old Sydelle Mirabil is a talented weaver whose dreams of life outside her tiny village come true when she meets a mysterious young wizard named Wayland North. He asks for her help in mending his magical cloaks and reaching the capital in time to stop a war between kingdoms. As Sydelle learns more about North’s past and her own strange abilities, she realizes the fate of the kingdom may rest in her fingertips. Fans of Kazu Kibuisihi’s Amulet will enjoy this title about discovering your own power.
