Cover of Geeky Fab 5 Volume 4

Geeky F@b 5 Volume 4 Food Fight For Fiona GN – Papercutz shows kids making a difference in their community in this latest volume. The Geeky Fab 5 are creating volcano cakes to fundraise for a new computer lab at Earhart Elementary when a girl transfers into their class. They befriend Fiona and her younger brother Freddy, who always seems to be hungry. After becoming fast friends, they discover Fiona and Freddy don’t live in a home like most kids, and that not every student has enough food over the weekend. The GF5 decide to help by rallying their school and leading the way in the annual student hunger drive to help stock the local food bank. This is a great series for encouraging STEM topics and showing kids they can do anything they put their minds to.

Cover of Pizza and Taco Volume 2 Best Party Ever

Pizza and Taco Volume 2 Best Party Ever GN – Random House Books for Young Readers brings back best friends Pizza and Taco to tickle readers’ funny bones. Boredom strikes best friends Pizza and Taco. They decide the best way to beat this oh-so-relatable problem is to throw a party! They find a location, make a guest list and set up the decorations. Everything is perfect…until it isn’t. Ice Cream has a meltdown, Hamburger turns out to be lactose intolerant, and who invited Cheeseburger anyway? It’s kind of a disaster. At least, now they know how not to throw a party! This graphic novel with chapters is perfect for bolstering the reading confidence of kids ages 4-7.
