CatStronauts Volume 6 Digital Disaster GN – Little Brown Books for Young Readers takes off with a new CatStronauts adventure. This time, the CatStronauts are joined by a few kittens, who were top of their class at Space Camp. They are all going to the first-ever space hotel built by Darby Fuzzelton, the world’s richest cat. AVA, an advanced Artificial Intelligence system, runs the hotel’s operations, and it’s up to the CatStronauts to prove the hotel is safe for the public. All the hotel systems go on the fritz however, when AVA gets distracted after seeing Cat-Stro-Bot and his ability to go anywhere. Now the CatStronauts need to escape the hotel of horror alive! Plenty of humor, charm, and cat puns galore makes this a title readers of all ages will enjoy.
Araña Here Comes The Spider-Girl TP – Marvel Comics releases the first trade of the Spider-Girl Araña. Anya Corazon is a high school student in Brooklyn. She is fatally wounded one night when she is caught in a battle between the mystical Spider Society and their enemy, the Sisterhood of the Wasp. Saved by a mage from the Spider Society, Anya receives a magical tattoo that grants her amazing powers and a strange armored exoskeleton. Joining the Spider Society, she uses her newfound powers to help in their war against their ruthless enemy, while trying to keep her father, an inquisitive reporter, from learning the truth. This volume collects the first 12 issues of Anya’s story and is a great addition to any graphic novel collection.
