The Picks:
Moonstruck Volume 3 Troubled Waters TP – Image releases the third chapter in the popular magical adventure. It’s spring in supernatural Blitheton, and the town is preparing for the annual Mermaid Festival. Werewolf barista Julie and her girlfriend Selena meet up with one of Selena’s friends, but once again, things take a turn for the worse. Does the universe have something against them, or is it something more sinister? More importantly, will their relationship survive once it starts taking on water? Lumberjanes co-creator Grace Ellis continues this light-hearted fantasy romance that will leave you smiling.
Heroes At Home #1 – Marvel Comics show how being stuck inside isn’t easy for anyone, even super heroes! See how some of Marvel’s heroes have coped with being cooped up. Spider-man tries to bake a cake. Captain America uses his shield as a plate when he realizes all his other dishes are dirty. The Incredible Hulk does some coloring, and Captain Marvel battles Skrulls and the Kree over Zoom…until her cat Chewie gets in the way of her screen. Short and mostly wordless, these comics are relatable to readers of all ages and the perfect pick-me-up for these days of self-isolation.
