Lumberjanes End Of Summer #1 – Boom! Studios comes full circle with the final issue of Lumberjanes. The Grey has been taking over the woods around Miss Qiunzella Thiskwin Penniquiqul Thistle Crumpet’s Camp for Hardcore Lady Types. The Lumberjanes and all of the friends they’ve made over the summer have come together to fight back against the mysterious force, but nothing has been able to even slow it down. Molly, however, has discovered a deep and ancient forest magic and joins with it, determined to protect her friends and their home away from home. Is the all-encompassing, all-erasing Grey too much for one ‘Jane to fight on her own? This final issue of the Eisner winning series sees the return of co-creator & series artist Brooklyn Allen along with the Kitten Holy to bring this 5+ year journey to a satisfying end. It’s not to be missed! (Check out our preview!)

Pirate Stew HC – Quill Tree Books brings out a hilarious tale of pirate babysitters from the pen of Neil Gaiman. Long John McRon, Ship’s Cook is not your average babysitter. He and his crew of wild pirates turns one boy and his sister’s perfectly ordinary evening into a riotous adventure beneath a pirate moon. These pirate babysitters bring the mayhem with a magical pirate stew, flying ships, and doughnut feasts. The silly and deliciously entertaining rhyming text is perfect for pirates both young and old.
