The Picks:

Fantastic Tales Of Nothing Volume 1 GN – Harper Collins releases a fantasy graphic novel filled with humor and hijinks. Nathan is an ordinary human, living an ordinary life, until one day he wakes up in the middle of nowhere. He is in Nothing, a fantastic land where humans and magical volken coexist peacefully. Nathan learns he has a mysterious power, even though humans aren’t supposed to have magic. With the help of Haven, a strange creature who is neither human nor volken, and two volken mercenaries, a grumpy wolf named Bardou and a delightful crow named Sina, he sets out on a perilous quest with the fate of Nothing resting on his shoulders. This new series will appeal to fans of Amulet and Estranged.

My Little Pony Holiday Memories TP – IDW returns to Equestria for a new holiday special. Join in the holiday fun as the ponies from Ponyville prepare to celebrate the holiday season. The Apple family is busy preparing an array of tasty apple treats for all of Ponyville when a mysterious creature starts ruining their crops. It’s up to Applejack to find out who’s behind it. Twilight Sparkle and Spike get stuck in a snowstorm, and what better way to pass the time than reading some classic Equestrian holiday tales? The Flim-Flam brothers roll into town with trinkets and a tall tale to sell. But Twilight Sparkle and Applejack aren’t going to put up with their foolery, even at the expense of everyone else’s fun. Finally, Rarity is invited to three different Hearth Warming Eve parties, and is determined not to miss out on any of the fun by attending all three! It’s been awhile since IDW released a holiday collection and this is the year we really need some stories that focus on family, friends, traditions and all-around joy!
