Shirley And Jamila Save Their Summer GN – Dial Books releases a graphic novel about solving mysteries and making friends. Jamila Waheed is new to the neighborhood, and sees a lonely summer in her future. Then, she meets Shirley Bones, a girl also in need of a new plan for summer. Shirley seems a little strange, but she’s also the neighborhood’s best kid detective. When neighborhood kid Oliver show up asking for help finding his possibly stolen pet gecko, Shirley is on the case. Jamila joins her when she discovers she has some sleuthing skills of her own. Their crime-solving partnership just might become something more if they can solve the mystery of what it means to be a friend. This is a summer adventure that middle grade readers will enjoy.

My Little Pony Transformers #1 – IDW Publishing brings out the crossover fans never thought they’d see.
