Mythics Volume 1 Heroes Reborn GN – Papercutz introduces a new band of mythic heroes. In the ancient times of Gods and heroes, evil in the guise of six different gods tried to take over the world. They were stopped by six heroes, each with their own extraordinary powers. The evil was defeated and banished to the lifeless red desert on the planet Mars. In the modern day, humanity has reached the red planet and awakened the evil. The contemporary world faces the greatest threat it has ever known, and six young heirs to the original heroes must discover just how worthy they are as successors if they are to save the world. Mythics taps into different mythologies to build a story filled with the action and adventure middle school readers love.
Pokemon Adventures Collector’s Edition Volume 1 TP – Viz Media collects the the first three volumes of the original Pokémon manga into an omnibus. Red thinks he knows all about Pokémon, but an encounter with a powerful Pokémon and the trainer Blue sends him on a journey to become a Pokémon trainer himself and defeat his new rival. Along the way, he makes friends with other trainers and Pokémon and discovers the secret organization Red Rocket, whose experiments on Pokemon threaten both humans and Pokémon alike. Only Red, Blue, and the mysterious Green can stop them, if they can learn to work as a team. The Pokémon Adventures series follows the game more closely than the cartoon series, and it makes for an engaging story that more than just fans of the franchise will enjoy.
