Preview: ‘Bug Boys’
Random House Graphic, the new graphic novel line led by former First Second marketing director Gina Gagliano, publishes its second new title today: Bug Boys, by Laura Knetzger. The book follows the adventures of two friends, Stag-B and Rhino-B, as they explore the world around them and react to it very differently. Brigid Alverson, the editor of the Good Comics for Kids blog, has been reading comics since she was 4. She has an MFA in printmaking and has worked as a book editor, a newspaper reporter, and assistant to the mayor of a small city. Brigid is married to a physicist and has two daughters. She was a judge for the 2012 Eisner Awards.
