Exclusive: First Look at Ethan Young’s ‘Space Bear’

You read it here first when BOOM! Studios announced that Ethan Young would be publishing an original graphic novel for children, Space Bears, under their KaBOOM! imprint. (Young is the creator of The Battles of Bridget Lee and Nanjing: The Burning City (which won a Reuben Award and was nominated for an Eisner and a Harvey), as well as Life Between Panels, which collects his comic Tails.) Now we have an exclusive first look at Space Bear, which will be published in June 2020. Here’s the 411:
Pilgrim Finch is an adventurous astronaut bear who explores the cosmos with a mission to bring samples of life back to his home planet. But when he crash lands on a new planet full of surprises and danger around every corner, Pilgrim will be forced to question his orders and learn that there’s only one mission that matters—compassion for all living creatures, no matter the stakes!
And here’s the preview. Enjoy!
