Princeless Volume 8 Princesses TP – Action Lab Entertainment presents four stories told by the rest of the Princesses of the Ashe family. Adrienne’s sisters get to step into the spotlight as they each tell a story all their own. Alize tells a story from before she was rescued of how she came to be under the care of the Sphinx and met a very special prince. Angelica leans a little something about what she loves (other than herself) after her rescue. Angoisse and her monster pet The Grimmorax find a new calling. And twin sisters Andrea and Antonia find a way to use their magic to help others, if they can get out of each other’s way first. Meeting Adrienne’s sisters has been the highlight of each volume of Princeless, and with this volume, we finally get to learn more about them.

Disney Dracula Starring Mickey Mouse TP – Dark Horse Comics continues the Disney-fication of classic literature, this time taking on Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Jonathan Ratker (played by Mickey Mouse), is trapped in Dracula’s castle after coming to Beetsyvania to close a deal for his law firm. Meanwhile, his love Minnina, seeks the help of a Doctor Goofy Van Helsing after her friend, Clara-Lucia falls ill after encountering an unidentified creature. Goofy Van Helsing discovers the supernatural is at play, and Minnina may be next. Jonathan Ratker must find a way to escape the castle and stop Dracula from going after the one he loves most. Putting Disney characters in timeless stories like Bram Stoker’s Dracula is a great way to get a younger audience interested in classic literature, making this a terrific addition to any middle school collection.
