The History of Memorial Day
One of my favorite comics websites is The Nib, which runs short, topical comics on current events, history, science—all kinds of great stuff. As today is Memorial Day, here are the first few panels of a great comic about the history of this day and how it has evolved over the years: The Controversial Origins of Memorial Day, by Allyson Shwed.
