Sweetie #1 – A self-taught superhero swings into action, and into high school in this new series from Action Lab Entertainment. Maggie is a big fan of comic books, cartoon, and action movies. So much so, that through keen observation and unbending determination, she has taught herself all the death-defying stunts and fighting styles of her favorite action stars and superheroes! Until now, it’s just been an eccentric hobby she’s kept to herself, since only nerds are into the whole superheroes and evil villain stuff. But, when Maggie has a run-in with an evil mastermind and his sinister mercenary group the day before she begins high school, it becomes something more. With all her years of training, it’s up to this socially awkward girl to become the self-taught superhero the city needs. Sweetie balances the thrill of an action hero story with a slice of life that both readers young and old will enjoy.
