Preview: ‘Everything’s Archie,’ vol. 1
Here’s a blast from the past: A preview of vol. 1 of Everything’s Archie, a collection of classic comics from the 1960s and 1970s, some starring the band The Archies. There’s a new twist, though: This is the first graphic novel in the new Archie Presents series, which will bring back classic Archie comics in a full-color, 200-page, 5×8 format similar to other middle-grade graphic novels. Whether your’e a newcomer or (like me!) old enough to have cut a “Sugar Sugar” single off a box of breakfast cereal, this is a fun read for all (especially the first story, which is weirdly meta). The book goes on sale in comic shops on November 21. Enjoy!
