Backstagers HalloweenBackstagers Halloween Intermission #1 – Boom! Studios brings back the backstage hands for a haunted night at the theater. With all the weirdness that goes on backstage during normal nights, no one wants to know what happens on Halloween, the spookiest night of the year. Sasha is going to find out however, when he accidentally falls asleep backstage and ends up locked in the theater overnight. But he’s not alone, as Stage Managers Tim and Jamie are staying as well. What creepy creatures, lurking shadows and terrible terrors will they discover? And what the heck are Tim and Jamie chanting? This oversized issue has three spine-tingling tales to make your Halloween season even spookier.

Girl who married a skullGirl Who Married A Skull And Other African Stories GN – Iron Circus Comics continues their Cautionary Fables and Fairytales series with a volume dedicated to stories from Africa. This volume features 15 new tales, including a skull who borrows body parts to pass himself off as human so he can trick the village beauty into marriage, a play date between the Frog and Snake’s daughters, and crocodiles holding a vote on whether or not to eat a man that had once saved one of their lives. These classic African fairy tales are given a modern twist to appeal to a new audience with tales that range from funny to eerie and sinister.
