The Picks:

Victor and ClintVictor And Clint GN – Humanoids Publishing lets their imagination run wild in this new graphic novel. Small-town boy Victor has a vivid imagination. He uses it to escape into a dream world when two local boys begin to bully him. The Wild West comes alive, where Victor is the hero Clint, riding the plains with colt in hand, and his dog Albert by his side. Parents turn into sheriffs and bicycles become faithful steeds in this childhood escapade that reads like a laugh-out-loud spaghetti western. Kids will enjoy this funny yet touching story.

Dinosaur Explorers 1Dinosaur Explorers Volume 1 Prehistoric Pioneers GN – Papercutz travels back to the ancient past, long before the dinosaurs, with a new group of adventurers. Trapped in the Precambrian Era, 570 million years ago, by an earthquake, Sean, Rain, Stone and Emily, must work together to fix their time machine, the Particle Transmitter. Under the guidance of Dr. Da Vinci and his assistant Diana, the quartet must find a way to get electricity into the lab, while exploring and learning about the weird wonders that populate this world. Dinosaur Explorers combines comics with scientific information on the prehistoric world and the creatures that inhabit it, to create a fun and fascinating read.
