The Picks:
Robots Vs Princesses #1 – Dynamite Entertainment starts the battle you never knew you needed. Princess Zara doesn’t have a song or animal for her royal recital like the other princesses. Wishing for a dragon instead of the usual princess-y pets, she goes out into the forest and stumbles upon the robotic Decimator defector Wheeler. Their meeting sets in motion events that will pit the cleverness of the spunky and spritely fairytale princesses against the raw power of the evil giant robots. Originally funded on Kickstarter, this title has been picked up by Dynamite for readers of all ages to enjoy.
Delilah Dirk And The Pillars Of Her GN – First Second brings back the best adventurer and her hapless sidekick for another crazy caper. Delilah and her companion Selim set out for the more agreeable central Asia after their harrowing adventure in England. Stumbling on an artifact that may be the a clue to the location of the legendary third pillar of Hercules, the pair must return to Europe and embark on an Indiana-Jones-style archeological caper. Pitted against a ruthless enemy, Delilah is forced to team up with the most unlikely of all partners: her sworn enemy Jason Merrick, the man who framed her for espionage! The Delilah Dirk adventures never disappoint, and this one looks to be one of the best yet. It’s a must for any graphic novel collection.
