Just ahead of the American Library Association annual meeting, DC has revealed more details on its upcoming line of DC Zoom graphic novels for middle-grade readers and DC Ink graphic novels for young adults.

DC Zoom will launch in April 2019. Here’s the lineup:

  • Super Sons: The Polarshield Project, written by Ridley Pearson and illustrated by Ile Gonzalez (April 2019)
  • DC Super Hero Girls: Spaced Out, written by Shea Fontana, and illustrated by Agnes Garbowska (May 2019)
  • Batman: Overdrive, written by Shea Fontana and illustrated by Marcelo Di Chiara (August 2019)
  • Black Canary: Ignite, written by Meg Cabot and illustrated by Cara McGee (October 2019)

And here’s the first round of DC Ink titles:

  • Mera: Tidebreaker, written by Danielle Paige and illustrated by Stephen Byrne (April 2019)
  • Under The Moon: A Catwoman Tale, written by Lauren Myracle and illustrated by Isaac Goodhart (May 2019)
  • Harley Quinn: Breaking Glass, written by Mariko Tamaki and illustrated by Steve Pugh (June 2019)
  • Teen Titans: Raven, written by Kami Garcia and illustrated by Gabriel Picolo (July 2019)

More details will be forthcoming at the ALA meeting this weekend; Kami Garcia, Ridley Pearson, Shea Fontana, Meg Cabot, Danielle Paige, Lauren Myracle, and Mariko Tamaki will all be there and will be discussing the new books on panels. We’ll follow up with more updates as they become available. In the meantime, here’s a look at the covers of the new books. (Batman: Overdrive and Harley Quinn: Breaking Glass are not final art, but the others are the official covers.)
