The Picks:

Zero's Journey 1Nightmare Before Christmas Zero’s Journey #1 – Tokyopop continues their Disney Japan manga releases with another original story. Zero, Jack Skellington’s faithful pet, has gotten lost in Christmas Town. Jack puts Halloween on hold to mount a search for the ghost pup, while Zero himself seeks the help of the residents of Christmas Town to find his way back, hopefully in time to save both holidays! Nightmare Before Christmas is truly a classic tale, so it’s great to get some original content set in the universe, and giving a character without a lot of development his own story to shine.

Ch's Sweet Adventures 1Chi’s Sweet Adventures Volume 1 GN – Vertical Comics brings back everyone’s favorite kitten! Chi, the lovable kitten who just wants to have fun and help out her human family is back with a whole new collection of stories. Just like the first series, this one is in full color and told in easy to follow panels for readers of all ages to enjoy. Readers won’t be able to resist Chi’s adorable kitten antics, just as viewers of the new anime on Amazon Prime, also called Chi’s Sweet Adventures, won’t.
