Sami The Samurai Squirrel Welcome To Woodbriar GN – Action Lab Entertainment releases another kid friendly series filled with action, adventure, and comedy. Sami is a samurai squirrel who lives in the village of Woodbriar with her friends. When the village comes under attack by the villainous hooded ghost named Visper, Sami is there to protect them. In order to stop Visper, Sami, joined by Bea the Bumblebee fairy and her other friends, goes on a journey to learn his secret. Along the way, they ninja monkeys, hungry pirates, and a cranky Cyber-Yeti! This series is part of the Aw Yeah! Comics line; it is created by Scoot McMahon and features an exclusive story co-written by the famous cartoonists Art Baltazar and Franco. Like the rest of the Aw Yeah Comics line, it will appeal to readers young and old.
Capture Creatures TP – BOOM! Studios finally collects the fully painted comic book by Frank Gibson and Becky Dreistadt. Tamzen isn’t happy being alone. Her father is always working in the lab, and she doesn’t have a lot of friends. To pass the time, she goes into the new reclamation zone, getting herself into trouble with the forest rangers. But when she sees a creature unlike any other in the forest, it’s up to her, lab assistant Jory, and Ranger Teddy to journey to the reclamation zone to find these strange creatures, keep them safe, and discover their origins. This series originally came out in 2014, and after four years it is finally getting a trade. Fans of Pokemon and Bee and Puppycat will want to check this series out.
