Preview: ‘Your Pal Archie’ #5
Earlier this year, Archie Comics launched yet another version of its flagship comic with Your Pal Archie, which is drawn in a hybrid style that falls between the traditional Archie house style and the new look of its rebooted, more “mature” Riverdale comics. Your Pal Archie is written and inked by Ty Templeton and penciled by longtime Archie creator Dan Parent, who talked to GC4K about the new series last summer.
Here’s a look at the most recent issue, Your Pal Archie #5, in which perennial good-girl-next-door Betty Cooper listens to the devil on her shoulder for a change. There’s a peek at the variant cover by Les McClaine at the end of the preview. The comic goes on sale on December 20. Enjoy!
