The Picks:
Princeless Raven The Pirate Princess Year Two Love And Revenge #1 – Action Lab Entertainment brings back the swashbuckling pirate princess from Princeless. Raven has restored her crew after their run-in with her treacherous brothers, and is now ready to reclaim what was stolen from her. But there’s time enough for a Dance Party! Raven intends to keep her promise to confess her love to Ximena, but Sunshine has other plans. Who will end up dancing with whom by the end of the night remains to be seen. Join Raven and her crew for more high adventures on the high seas with this second series.
Red’s Planet Volume 2 Friends And Foes GN – Amulet Books returns to check on Red and her castaway friends. Red, along with her clumsy companion Tawee, try to make a new home on the mysterious planet they have crash landed on. But when things get a little tough, the other castaways run to her for help. Goose, the custodian of the planet takes issue to this, and soon he and Red find themselves locked in the middle of an election to see who will lead the castaways. Meanwhile, an Uskok probe is found on the planet, that is searching the universe for something, or someone. Red and Goose must somehow put aside their differences in order to protect the castaways from the Uskok’s threat and, ultimately, their friendship. From the mind of Eddie Pittman, writer and story artist for Disney’s hit TV series Phineas and Ferb, Red’s Planet is a story filled with a cast of unique characters and non-stop adventure that tweens won’t want to put down.
