MLP DarkwaterMy Little Pony Treasury Edition Ponies Of Darkwater – IDW Publishing releases an oversized collection of the storyline “Ponies of Darkwater.” Returning home from saving Equestria yet again, the Mane Six encounter a new hot springs. After relaxing in it’s water, the ponies turn into dark versions of themselves. Spike, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and Princess Luna, who has her own history with dealing with darkness, are all that stand between the Mane Six and the destruction of Ponyville. Fans of My Little Pony will treasure this new edition.

Dracula marries FrankensteinDracula Marries Frankenstein GN – Papercutz releases a new Anne of Green Bagels story. Anne and her friends search for the ideal location to make a horror movie in suburban Megatown. They get lucky and strike a deal with Augusta Herringbone to film at her creepy castle-like home. But their film, Dracula Marries Frankenstein, sets off Augusta’s homophobia, and their film set is destroyed in a fire. Anne is undaunted, and pulls from the ashes forgiveness and understanding, a finished film, an underwater dream fulfilled, and a location for their next movie. This mix of chapter book and graphic novel tackles some serious issues while keeping it accessible to tweens.
