The Picks:

Treehouse of Horrors 23Simpsons’ Treehouse Of Horror #23 – Bongo Comics brings the Simpsons back for another year of hilarious horror. Three tales of terror grace this year’s issue. Marge, Homer, Lenny, Carl, and Barney were tormented by a clown that lived in a sewer when they were children. They are adults now, but that clown isn’t down with them. Comic Book Guy is cursed by an unsuspecting citizen of Springfield, and Marge must keep her family safe from a fungal invasion from space! The Simpson’s Treehouse of Horror issues are a tradition now, and no spooky season is complete without it!

Graveyard ShakesGraveyard Shakes GN – Graphix releases a spirited new graphic novel. Two very different sisters, Kaita and Victoria, are scholarship students at a private boarding school. Victoria tries to fit in while Katia relishes her quirks, despite teasing from her classmates. When Katia runs away after a big fight, Victoria goes looking for her and accidentally tumbles into the underworld at a nearby graveyard. She meets an adorable Little Ghost and the kindhearted son of Nikola, a man who is preparing a sinister spell. The three team up to find Victoria before she becomes Nikola’s next victim. Filled with spooky fun and sisterly spirit, this title is perfect for fans of Raina Telgemeier and Neil Gaiman.
