Preview: ‘Lifeformed: Cleo Makes Contact’
Here’s a preview of a new YA sci fi graphic novel coming out next week: Lifeformed: Cleo Makes Contact, the debut book from writer Matt Mair Lowery and artist Cassie Anderson. The storyline is straightforward but packs a punch: Aliens invade the earth, and Cleo the lead character, sees her father killed before her eyes—and then an alien steps up and not only assumes his shape but takes on his memories as well. Together they fight hordes of shape-shifting aliens, and the shape-shifter who took her father’s form has a battle of his own. This preview sets the scene, showing Cleo’s warm relationship with her real father and the beginning of the invasion. The book is due out on September 13. Enjoy!
