The Picks:
World Of Archie Jumbo Comic Digest #71 – Archie Comics keeps the old school spirit alive with their digests featuring new stories in the old Archie style. Starting a new school year, Archie’s musical abilities get him a scholarship to a private music school. But when he realizes his skills aren’t up to par with his peers, returning to Riverdale High becomes like music to Archie’s ears. Even though the Archie reboot may appeal more to today’s readers, it’s good to see that fans of the old school house style can still get stories they enjoy.

Fantasy Sports Volume 3 The Green King HC – Nobrow Press continues their sports adventure series. As Wiz and Mug continue their quests for the mighty United Order of Mages, they start questioning their motives. Wiz believed in the Order as a force for good, one that works to destroy tyrants and restore peace. As they play a catastrophic game of mini golf, revelations may show that not to be the case at all. This penultimate volume is a must as the series rushes toward its finale, while still being friendly for new readers to jump on.
