The Picks:
Secret Coders Volume 3 Secrets And Sequences GN – First Second continues their series of adventure and computer coding basics. Hopper, Eni, and Josh continue their journey to unravel the mysteries of Stately Academy by learning more coding. They delve into the Academy’s past, but Principal Dean, who also wants the secrets is hot on their trail, demanding the coders turn over their most powerful robot. Applying what they’ve learned, they thwart the Principal and his Rugby minions and finally find the guy behind it all: a green-skinned coding genius named Professor One-Zero. This series continues to entertain with great characters and interesting situations as well as educate as it walks the reader through the basics of coding.
My Little Pony Deviations #1 – IDW Publishing deviates from the same old, same old with a new batch of alternate reality stories. See a world where Princess Celestia chooses Prince Blueblood to become her personal protege instead of Twilight Sparkle. The vain and lazy pony is sent by Princess Celestia to Ponyville where he must make a friend. Will the ponies of Ponyville be able to see past his less-than-appealing personality and show Prince Blueblood that friendship is indeed magic? Alternate reality stories can be really fun as they explore the different paths a character could have taken.
