The Picks:

pink-panther-pink-or-treatPink Panther Trick Or Pink #1 – American Mythology Productions helps the Pink Panther and his pals get into the spirit of the season. Halloween is just around the corner, and the Pink Panther and his friends are ready to join in the fun. This special is filled with spooky campfire “tails” from the cool cat himself as he makes this the pinkest Halloween ever with the three magic words, “trick or pink!” The Pink Panther is a great series for young readers to get in on all the spooky hijinks of Halloween without the creepy scares.

barbie-1Barbie Volume 1 – Papercutz gives the one of the most iconic dolls her own graphic novel line. Barbie, like every young person today, is faced with the problem of choosing a career in an economic environment that is increasingly difficult for anyone to find a job. Her optimistic and determined attitude, and interest in clothes, leads her to the highly competitive world of fashion, where she can be a model, a designer, or something not even dreamed of yet! While pursuing her dream, Barbie makes new friends that can help her or may try to end her fashion career before it even starts. This is Barbie for the 21st Century, where girls can be and do anything, including overcoming the obstacles they will inevitably face.
